At Elixir Cipher Perfumes, we strive to deliver your luxury decants and retail fragrances securely across India. By completing a purchase on our website or through our Pune storefront, you unconditionally agree to the shipping, cancellation, and refund rules outlined below.

PAN India Shipping & Domestic Logistics

  • Delivery Timeline: All orders are processed from our facility in Pune, Maharashtra within 1–3 business days. Estimated transit times across India range from 3–7 business days depending on your location (metro vs. tier-2/tier-3 cities).
  • Shipping Partners: We use premium, third-party domestic couriers (e.g., Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC) to fulfil deliveries.
  • Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, a tracking number and link will be shared via your registered Email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
  • Transit Damage Disclaimer: While we use industrial-grade sealing and protective bubble wrapping, minor cosmetic evaporation or microscopic seepage may occur due to high air pressure changes during transit. Minor leakage that does not significantly affect the total volume ordered is not eligible for claims.

Strict Partial Cash on Delivery (COD) Rules

To prevent fake orders and high return-to-origin (RTO) logistics costs, we enforce a strict threshold policy.

  • Order Value Limit: Cash on Delivery (COD) is strictly unavailable for order totals below ₹2,000. All orders below this amount must be 100% prepaid online.
  • Mandatory 25% Advance: For orders exceeding ₹2,000, you may opt for our Partial COD facility. This requires a non-refundable 25% advance payment online via our secure payment gateway to confirm the order. The remaining 75% balance must be paid in full to the courier agent at the time of doorstep delivery.
  • Forfeiture on Refusal: If you refuse to accept the package at your doorstep, fail to pay the remaining 75% balance, or remain unreachable after three (3) delivery attempts by our courier partner, the package will be returned to our Pune shop. In such scenarios, your 25% advance payment will be permanently forfeited to cover the twin costs of forward and reverse shipping logistics.

Absolute No-Return & No-Exchange Policy (Hygiene Safe Harbor)

  • Hygiene Compliance: Fragrances and decants are sterile cosmetic products. Once a vial or bottle is dispatched from our store, it is exposed to external environments.
  • All Sales Are Final: For health, hygiene, and consumer safety reasons, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or replacements on any opened, tested, or untested fragrances if you simply dislike the scent profile, longevity, or performance.

Mandatory 360° Unboxing Video Protocol (For Claims)

We provide replacements or store credits only if an item arrives completely broken/smashed or if the wrong variant was shipped. To claim this, you must submit a valid unboxing video within 24 hours of delivery.

Your unboxing video will be legally rejected if it fails any of these rules:

Unboxing Video Requirements

  • No Cuts, No Edits: The video must be a single, continuous shot. Pausing, editing, or splicing the video automatically voids your claim.
  • Label Visibility: The video must start by clearly showing the shipping label (displaying the tracking number, name, and address) to prove the package has not been tampered with.
  • 360-Degree View: Before opening, rotate the box/flyer completely to show all sides, top, and bottom, proving it has not been pre-sliced or re-taped.
  • Live Inspection: The video must capture the physical act of cutting open the seal and pulling out each decant vial to inspect it live on camera.

Important: Any discrepancies reported without this video, or reported after the 24-hour window, will be permanently dismissed.

Order Cancellations

  • By the Customer: You can request an order cancellation within 2 hours of placing it, provided it has not been packed or dispatched from our Pune facility. Once dispatched, an order cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
  • By Elixir Cipher Perfumes: We reserve the ultimate right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, systemic pricing errors, or automated fraud alerts flagged by our payment gateways. If we cancel a prepaid order, a 100% refund will be credited back to your original payment mode within 5–7 business days.

Dispute Resolution & Legal Jurisdiction

Any complaints or logistics disputes arising from shipping, transit damage, or partial COD defaults shall be governed by the laws of India. All formal legal proceedings or consumer complaints are subject exclusively to the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, to the exclusion of any other location.
